What the hell, doesn’t matter if it is 1-3 or 1-4.
Another season in this piss poor league .

Another embarrassing result.
But i guess we were just unlucky? Again…
Pathetic!
Something has to change for next season.
Hopefully I’ll get back to the UK by the start of pre-season, just planning the most direct route to walk back from Vegas. Currently exploring options of boat, train, camel and every other mode of transport than air!
They ought to be thourourly ashamed of themselves, the lot of them!
Last season we were in a position to escape relegation, but a total and utter capitulation sent us down. This season we were in a position to get into the playoffs, but a total and utter capitulation prevented this. I’m sick of it to be honest.
Where do I start ?
Lamby did’nt even bother to turn up today !
There was some effort but no PASSION ! Except for one of course !
Stamford are no better than us but they were organised with some local lads in the team and played with a passion and pride to wear the shirt !
This team has gone as far as it can and it is time for change !
Would only keep one player next season now - the rest can go manager included !
Mention for the 30 approx supporters who made the journey and were appreciated by only 2 Witton players !
Yes I noticed that too Eli. Only Pritch and Peter Heler could be bothered to walk over and clap the fans who had made the 3hr trip to watch them and thats crap !
I havent posted for months but I have to say having got up earlier than I do for work sometimes to make the day trip at considerable expenses I expect the fans to be atleast acknowledged (having been there it wasnt as if they were getting abuse or anything all game) What more could they ask for?
Sadly there is no rapport any more which is disheartening.
No PASSION either Vi8 !
One of the arguments being given for not changing the manager is continuity, and avoiding having to rebuild the squad again in the summer…
To be honest, we need a total clear out either way.
The standard was set during the Carlton game. Surely these players have some pride?! If you’re playing park football on a sunday morning then you have a responsibility to give your all, let alone if you are being paid for the privilidge.
In my opinion the problem we have is that the bulk of the players we have used this season have been on a downward trajectory. No hunger and no drive. They have almost all played at a higher level, before dropping down the leagues - does this not say something about their character?
Very true Robbo, what we need is young blood, lads who are desperate to win. I cannot believe there are not some likely lads living locally.
WHS.
I missed the game Saturday so cannot comment but from what is being said it was another gutless performance from the players. I’ve heard all the arguments about Gary and he does seem to have contacts and get players in but getting them to play together seems to be impossible. His man management does not appear good either.I know WHS you want to give him a second chance but this would be a third chance as we’ve been down this road before with him the first time he was here. I’m not bothered if we lose this lot of players they can go for me and some will probably do ok elsewhere with a dynamic manager.
Don’t want to be critical of the Chairman but he seems to have a blind spot as far as GF is concerned andhas also now made 2 bad decisions for the managers job. Mark is a great bloke though and it is difficult as there are not too many good managers about. I’d like to see someone in the post who is good at man management and who can improve young players! We need a combination of Gary’s contact and Nigel Gleghorns abilty to improve players.
