What happens if North Ferriby drop down a couple of leagues? Would we get a reprieve? Clutching at straws, help!!!.
Why oh why was Sully appointed in the first place, and why was he not shown the door months ago. He has put in what could be an unrepairable position, and unfortunately Mr Harriss must shoulder some of the blame, even though i have the greatest of respect for him. He went for the cheap option when installing him as manager, and the team i have supported for over 50 years have been sent down, and i doubt if i will ever see them rise again such is the feeling i have right now. Witton Albion rip.
@Albionforever…with Salford going up, don’t you think we can make a quick return next season?
Whilst I agree it’s only football, and certainly not the most important thing in life, what I can’t accept is under achievement and very debateable decisions made by the board on behalf of people that have followed, supported and loved this football club for the majority of their lives. If you’re happy to watch the club in two divisions below where we should be and ground share with poison, for at least the next three years, I salute you. Enjoy.
Depends on the budget
What was the story with the previous ground share? I heard a few things about non-payment and non-use of the bar…is that true?
Wow so nice to see Wittoners with passion for a change
Where were you today tho?
Dont come on here giving your shit advice when you couldn’t be arsed to watch the game you talk so passionatly about
If you attend then talk, if you dont then shut up
Sully and the players came into the club tonight and it was bloody emotional as Sully had already resigned but he still thanked everyone of us for going today and im sad to see him go so it annoys me to see him slated on here by people who never attend matches

Next season I am free at last! Junior footie will be on a Sunday…looking forward to supporting a proper football team! WEEE ALL AGREEE…Witton Albion are magic…!
We know more than you can believe that it hurts. But (usually!) in football as in life, you get what you deserve. Just hope to hell that the most hated club in non league don’t replace you in the the prem, as that would be a kick in the nuts to all that is good and fair. Bad luck and hopefully you’ll survive to play a proper derby again against us in the years to come.
Im not after a gold medal or anything and Red Elvis i dont know what you mean about Div 1 all my point is and please feel free to check all my previous comments but if i haven’t gone to a game i dont comment on it, tonight we have 7 pages of comments and if it means that much to everyone then why didnt you go?
I know some people had other commitments and some people work etc but my point is theres a lot of comments from people who dont attend home games never mind away ones!
Ive had a skinful of beer so ignore me but i love this club and today really hurts!
Gents: I have deleted some posts (Yox & Paul S) which contain cut & paste versions of Matt’s post (which I’ve edited).
These all contain language which is not acceptable on ANY forum and, as a moderator, I will delete any further posts that use offensive or foul language within them.

Matt there are 7 pages of comments because we are all hurting the same as you, it should probably be the “where does this club go from here” thread rather than the Stamford v Witton thread. The name of this thread is actually quite irrelevant.
This is a fans forum where fans are entitled to voice their opinions. Every fan has a right to post whether they attend games or not and if you don’t like what you are hearing then I’m afraid that’s just too bad. UTA

What an absolute ********* ******* *** ***** ************** ****** ** ** **** ***** ** *** ************ ***** arse ****** ****** ****** ** *** ******* ****, ***** ***** ***** **** ***** ***** ****** ****** Witton ***** *** *** *****!!!
There is a thread on Nonleaguezone about a possible repreive for Witton even tho we finished 22nd as North Ferriby are dropping 2 divisions after the owners have quit!
The suggestion is they will go into Div 1 North which could possibly mean an extra place is safe in the prem league after Marine have been reprieved today for finishing highest 21st in the Npl, Ryman and Southern leagues.
One person and one person only to blame for this and it’s Mark Harris, I’ve said it for neary 2 and a half years now, the guy has no idea when it comes to football related issues.
No point worrying about today now or the entire season for that matter, let’s get behind Witton Albion Football Club and get back to the prem, let’s enjoynezt season for what it is! Come on Witton!!!
MATT CATT,this is a forum to say what you think and have a little moan.most of the posts are’nt about the match but about the state of the whole football club.i’ve been about 10 games this season so i’ll just keep quiet
Tad harsh to blame Mark entirely IMHO . Mark took over when things were pretty topsy turvy at Witton and has carried on working as CM since in spite of health scare few years back . Like us I am sure Mark and his family have a life outside Witton including work, college and social commitments . Mark does a wonderful job . As a person who has been involved with football for many years , I find it hard to believe that he is clueless . When I am have a nice summer break from football, Mark and the board along with the ever faithful volunteers will carry on working though the closed season to ensure the club is ready for August season kick off .
Probably there has been a judgemental slip up in employing Sully as Witton manager but I am no expert in football matters . Hands up who has never employed a bad/clueless workman . Sully is a very decent ,pleasant and genuine chap but comes out clueless as a manager . He may have come out as suitable candidate for the job.
I feel it is time to shut the autopsy room and get on with next season’s preps
Rant over

We love you Witton. xxx
Tony was top of my list back in october. We started off great against Blyth, scored a goal and so nearly made it two and now it feels a million miles away.
I am in the minority but i thought we could get the win against Whitby that would maybe seen us safe.
I rated tony as a player and really wanted this to work,in the past he brought his Lairds teams to Witton and always impressed me with the football played and conduct in the dugout.
The board and Tony have been put through the mangle,i hope we all come back with the love for football and lets remember be careful for what you wish
I don’t think anybody wanted Sully to fail he seemed to be the right sort of fit to our club and had a real passion- but in the end his choice of players let him down coupled with losing some good ones left us very weak, in the end he had little choice but resign his only target was to keep us up !
