Stamford v. Witton Albion Sat 15th Dec

Who comes in for Peersy then ? Wilson , Wood , Dillon or maybe a shuffle and bring in Kearney ?

My guess would be Wilson to keep the balance of the team.

I would say Wood!!! Other than that the ideal replacement would be Craven however not heard whether he has recovered from his hamstring injury!

Spearritt right back, Coo RW, Brodie LW for me

Wilson or Wood for me, no point in making more than the necessary changes

Kearney right back push Coo up to use his pace wide.We also need to get the next 3 games played as they are all winnable even with out Peersie who will very definately be missed. We need him back for the harder games to come, no disrespect to Stamford, Frickley or Ashton!!

Personally I think we need Cav’s pace at the back rather than in midfield

Stamford FC are having a pitch inspection @ 10am on Saturday.

GE

As the players will need to be on the road around this time (and fans not long after) we could do with getting a post on here as soon as possible to confirm!!!

Does seem a little bit late to be honest. Don’t think the pitch would improve much between 9 and 10 ???

Depends if it rains at 9.30 or not… :o

I suppose a light sprinkling of warm rain might help, or maybe even a shower of de icer

Sorry hate to say this but the weather forecast particularly over the eastern part of the country was not very encouraging for the weekend. Mind you it was on GMTV this morning who have been known to get it wrong!! I do hope its on as I feel the lads are well capable of getting a result at Stamford. To be on 51 points after 20 games (halfway through the season) is unbelievable! If we got the same return from the next 20 games then I’m pretty sure 102 points would win the league!!A big ask I know but what a dream!!

Witton team

Kennedy, Coo, Brownhill, Pritchard, Barras, Brodie, MacPherson, Lloyd, Warlow, Thornley, Wilson.

Subs: Wood, Spearritt, Kearney.

Eagerly waiting for updates. Come on the Albion!

Fleetwood 0 Eastwood 1 (Chris Shaw)

Half Time Score: STAMFORD 0 WITTON ALBION 0.

Witton have had the better of the first half, hitting the woodwork twice.

Lets hope we can put the chances away second half, Fleetwood still 1-0 at half time and Vics also 1-0 down at Vauxhall
