according to the chorley site fozzy is back on a months loan with a view to a permanent move. seems like pritch has done it again. a proven striker giving great competition for places. well done pritch.
Great signing if it’s been officially confirmed. We know Fozzie well; physical, wind-up merchant but most of all a goalscorer.
Well done Pritch & co and welcome back Steve.
Im not sure wasnt that good here last time ? not my type of player to be honest but I will trust Pritch.
Last time he was here he spent more time on the bench and on the left wing than he did as a centre-forward.
His record speaks for itself.
Great to have competition for places up top. A proven goal scorer welcome back fozzy
UTA
Tenuous link but Flitcroft is being linked with the Blackburn job.
Not my favourite player but if Pritch wants him and we can afford him fine.

Fantastic signing, well done Pritch and everybody else involved in bringing Fozzy back.
He’s a proven goalscorer that gives us great competition up front.
Definitely the sort of player that you want playing for you rather than against!
We shall see ? I cannot see him getting many games who would you leave out stott or tuck assuming we play 2 up front ? for me he will be sat on the bench a bit and we wont extend beyond a months loan his only chance may be that he might prove to be a better pairing to stock/tuck who dont seem able to set up a partnership that works together ! personally I would have preffered a different option ! maybe I cant see beyond his character issues.
New to the forum but been a Witton fan for many years, remember him in his last spell at the club. Will offer us something different upfront I think. Interesting now that we have 4 strikers in the squad yet we only play with 1 up top???
I don’t think we’re tied down to any particular formation. With the players we now have in the squad i think it gives us different options.

Amazing what difference a month can make B)
I have to say I hate the idea of supporting the same team as someone who would happily sign people like Foster. If we went that way I would pack it in.
WHS.
I have to say that if he was a permanent signing I would not be very happy, as you can tell by my last missive I am not “Over the Moon” having him on loan but if Pritch is happy then who am I to say he is wrong. I think morally it is not a good signing and I certainly don’t feel comfortable with it. If he is signed on a permanent basis I do think I would stop going.
WHS.
I really, really don’t get the whole moral debate here! Steve Foster is a tenacious competitor and a proven goal scorer, that should be all that we’re worried about.
Welcome back to Witton Fozzy!
I also don’t understand the negative reaction from a select few. Our forwards have scored 3 goals in 10 league games we sign last seasons top scorer and player of the league and still not happy!! If you know of a better option that fits within our budget I implore you to tell Pritch and mark, they always make time for us fans. I’m sure they would listen.
Although Tuck and Stotty are excellent I do think we’ve looked a little lightweight up front at times this season when we have needed to get back into a game. I think the two recent signings could be a remedy to that and will certainly give us different options.
As for WHS’s comments surely another two lads up front can only make his 40-1 look even more attractive?
I find it absolutely ridiculous that anybody would stop watching Witton because we’ve signed a certain player. He’s just a footballer, he hasn’t killed anyone! I think this is a really good signing, he’ll score goals if given the chance and that’s a big boost to our front line, which has struggled at times this year.
What has he actually done that’s so wrong anyway?
Some say he was the mastermind behind the great train robbery
I thought that was Phil Collins?
