I think you will find Barry that Witton supporters were very sympathetic towards Vics plight despite them yet again getting themselves into serious trouble by living above their means, maybe at last they will have someone in charge who will start paying wages they can afford and play at a level they can keep their heads above water.
Yes I agree…fair point :)…unfortunately success has its costs and although right at the beginning when Vics left Witton and Winsford to go to so called better things ??? the risks due to increased costs of players wages and travelling etc…these days is just not worth it unless the club have really genuine sincere backers willing to pump money in as and when ? for I suppose the love of it !
Surely its better to be like our two clubs and enjoy success in an enviroment of comfort and affordability.

Actually …yes they do…but I quite enjoy it on here as well to be honest…couldn’t resist when the derby went our way recently and it was such a good game m8 ?
It was good to see the fair comments from the Witton fans to Winsford’s performance which was surprising to me but all credit to them for honesty !
I love the local games and been to many over the years between the three teams …my mother was born in Northwich so I had lots of family and went to school at Northwich also,played on Vics and central ground as a school boy and the picture here is of our team from Moulton Primary School in 1956…winning a shield on the old Central Ground beating Weaverham Wallerscote…6 0. …

Was watching Utd Youth team play Brighton at the Marston’s Arena on MUTV last night. The pitch was in a terrible state with sand all over the middle of it. Gary Neville was co-commentating and he remarked how poor it was and the fact that it could cause certain injuries to players.
And he would know all about injuries!!!
