The Derby Predictions

Deleted : One sentence because it is garbage, the other to save you from further embarrassment.

Left from original post : 4-1 Vics with 576 supporters.

You’ve been given an awful lot of leeway on this forum but I’m coming to the end of my tether. Any more garbage from you and you will be banned.

FFS have’nt you found another fan of your own team to start a forum with yet

What is wrong with posting comments on here I don’t understand why everyone is always angry with my comments. I’ve never said anything bad about our friends from Witton only want to make friends now that were sharing grounds.

Looking forward to Monday afternoon back to real local derbys, see you all there.

you really are thick as shit,1. it’s an evening kick off and 2.you are renting the use of our stadium and facilities.

Yes I know its an evening kick off I designed printed and displayed the posters around town with the new time on them kickoff is evening but we’ll all be arriving in the afternoon after the NorthFeast.
Yes we are renting your ground and facilities and we really appreciate being back in Northwich.
Thank you

I’m going for 2-1 Witton with 514 in attendance.

Im going for a 1-1 draw and a crowd of 595

On a previous thread I said I was pleased about the kick off switch as it meant I could attend. Now I’m not so sure, we have let these so-and-so’s back into town for the sake of a few bob and I’m vehemently opposed to it. I’d love it (really luv it!) if we ground them into the dirt, but I really could not bear it if these financially abhorrent morally bereft slimy green disgrace to the football family so called “V*cs” beat us. I probably just can’t do it!

Who would have thought after the last League derby match over 20 years ago that the next one would be 3 levels lower and played in front of less than an average league game at the time, a sad decline, perhaps another ground move might prove to be useful in bringing better times back again. Anyway I think that we will be lucky to get a draw as Vics will pretty much buy the title this year, on credit of course.

I’ll go for 2-1 witton
2 red cards, 5 yellow cards.
Att. 560

In all my years I never thought I would say this but I hope you absolutely stuff the feckers. I also think this will be the lowest ever league attendance for a Witton - Vics league game…by some distance too. Anyone know what that is btw?

HAHAHA… Thats not going to happen we have the better team with Jim in charge were going to make it 6 out of 6 by putting 6 past Witton Vic’s will be the biggest club in Northwich.

:goal :goal :goal :goal :goal :goal

I have missed the local rival banter

Oh do jog on you absolute numpty

Will someone please ban ddh from this forum, cos a rocking horse has more intellgence than him. If he had an extra brain cell it would be lonely.

My Derby prediction comes after the game. Vics will buy the league on credit, 1874 will pack in at the end of the season and we will regret allowing Vics to become the top side in the town again. It was a GREAT mistake to allow Vics back, without our ground they would have died. Even if we kick them out at the end of the season the damage will have been done, they will simply groundshare with Winsford instead of 1874.
Delighted we are at long last having a cup run but we are obviously not quite good enough to be a major challenger this season without one or two new, players. £1,000 a week, was it worth it?
WHS.

The 2012 traitors wont go bust for one, so V**s cant ground-share at Winsford, secondly we do need the money to maintain the stadium and keep us on an even keel, and lastly they could well win the league but if they don’t pay us our rent it will be them that goes bust and out of the league so yes its worth it not ideal of course but no good keep going on about it.

I take great offence to that statement CJ.

Here’s a scenario for you:

  1. Central Ground was sold to a buyer
  2. Money raised from sale will go to all purpose tidy little ground on the outskirts of town.
  3. (and here is where we diverge) half way through, money mysteriously runs out - oh crap, never mind knight in shining armour comes in to save us - hooray!.
  4. So called knight turns out to be a plum duff, separates club from ground but then club goes bust - back in the crap.
  5. Club is about to be wound up, so the (as yet non - existent WA) supporters trust puts in plans to start again.
  6. Another knight in shining armour comes in at the eleventh hour with a “consortium of Businessmen” and buys the club from previous plum duff with agreement to play at plum duff’s ground - Hooray! (consortium reduces to just white knight)
  7. Plum Duff goes bust again, ground repossessed by bank.
  8. White Knight assures us money to buy ground is 95% done, just "i’s to dot! - Hooray! (2 years pass)
  9. Bank refuses to sell to Knight - I wonder why? Rumours of no assurances of where money is coming from?
  10. Third party comes in to LEGALLY buy ground and evict club. White Knight who some now call dodgy geezer wails and gnashes teeth but does nowt really.
  11. Trust organises protest for change at successful fans club where dodgy geezer basically tells fans to “F off its my club”.
12.Club finishes second in league but is demoted for “financial irregularities”
  12. Dodgy geezer arranges to play at neighbours ground for a game but then reneges on agreement at last moment and moves club to another county for three years.
  13. Trust decides on masse that enough is enough and starts own club, to run as a fans club same as other club (see point 11. above).
  14. Fans name new club in honour of history of their old discredited club and move on with reasonable success on and off the field (Rome wasn’t built in a day)
  15. Meanwhile Dodgy Geezers club manages to stay afloat with no sponsorship and crowds of 30-40 and manages to pay all costs for a title contending side and yet are still hauled through the courts on winding up orders on a regular basis???
  16. Dodgy Geezers club returns with a triumphant blast to club who he previously reneged on an agreement with, much to the chagrin of a lot of this clubs fans.

The above is a scenario of what may have happened to Witton - maybe it has in an alternate universe, but in this universe it actually happened to fans of 1874 Northwich, so I would ask you CJ before making asinine and insulting statements like the one above, if the above had happened to your beloved club would you be a Colin Buckley or a James Wood?

Agree with all but the “us packing in” bit WHS, that will not happen.
We have a steady fanbase of around 260-280 and more when the games are bigger (like this weekend), contrary to what you think we are not idiots or traitors. We have a board of local people, accountants, teachers, civil engineers, IT specialists and financial advisors and more volunteers like yourselves have, trying to engage the community and local business and get back the reputation that was lost.
We are doing this the right way and building slowly but steadily for our future. I agree wholeheartedly about your point about the other club. Had Witton not shown them a door back into town they would have had only Barnton and the surety of demotion to look at. That will be your legacy.

I make no apology , we get all sorts of crap from your lot - insinuations and jibes so like it or lump it. In answer to your questions I have very little time for plastic clubs like FCUM so given the choice I would either watch Witton Albion to the end or stop watching altogether and follow premier football from a distance I guess I would have no interest in any new version. Spot on Colin, no more needs saying!
