They are full of rumours and hate on there web site, I suspect both sides are waiting to see what happens at the end of the season, can the current V**s keep going ? if not the phoenix club will kick off, I dont think any one really knows what will happen even Rushe who seems to live in a dream world.
Here is a new idea from the Vics fans forum; amalgamate with Northwich Villa and become Northwich Victoria Villa and cancel all debts!! If it wasn’t such a tragedy it would be laughable. (Sorry, personally I cannot stop laughing but for me it is not a tragedy!).

Mismanagement and living beyond your means is what it is WHS. But it can only go on so long. Refer to David Copperfield and the fictional charactor Mr Micawber who was incarcirated in “debtors prison” for failure to meet the demands of his creditors and whose wife was forced to pawn all the family heirlooms due to financial exigencies. Maybe an up to date version of David Coppefield could be made???
I have just read today’s Guardian, and the whole back page is devoted to Witton Albion. Nobody else gets a mentioned.
Not only that, but there is also nearly a full page article (by Andrew Simpson) on page 52 about Mark Robinson and Stephen Yoxall’s excellent initiative in getting Witton into schools, entitled:-
WITTON SEND A MESSAGE
There are also excellent photos of Nige and Matt Woolley coaching the kids.
Well Done everybody involved, and a special thanks to Andy Simpson for fantastic coverage.
Oh yes it is :woohoo: but the coverage in the Guardian would not be possible without the hard work of Ste Yoxall and Mark Robinson in setting up this event, Nige Deeley and Matt Wooley taking time to run the event, I have in the past come on this forum and blasted previous people who have run this mighty club, but like I have said on other threads with people behind the scenes like we have just how far can they take us?
Keep up the great work boys and keep making us proud to be Wittoners!
Whilst I acknowledge that the pitch is the best in non league football I don’t think it is up to being used as a Bowling Green!! I know where you are coming from Robbo, I do what I can, nowhere near as much as you and others but I am a dad and grandad with family in Birmingham and Much Wenlock so my time with them is precious to me. I will again do all I can next season and I urge others to do the same.
