I think for too long we have been living on memories and in the shadow of our now distant neighbours; time we moved on into a truly golden future. Acknowledge the past by all means, but it is our future that really matters.
WHS.
Blimey!
Talk about putting a damper on proceedings!..
I for one have found this a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable thread.
Surely thereâs nothing wrong with keeping those happy, golden memories?
Of course weâre looking forward to a bright future, but that doesnât mean we canât look back fondly.
Itâs like an old uncle used to say when we were kids, running round the garden laughing and shouting - âStop ENJOYING youselves!â
Are you turning into a grumpy old man, WHS?

Maybe if we refer to it as The Central Ground Of Northwich it might catch on?
What do you mean âTurning in toâ I have been a Grumpy Old Man for years, and yes Robbo, it was the Central Ground, Northwich. I agree there is nothing wrong in remembering the past fondly but we do have a golden future ahead of us hopefully.

Is it not time for those heart breaking pictures rabbit?
Bear with me. Some of us canât swan about on holiday and have to work for a living

Yes at the âtea hutâ end, he left the Albs before we moved to Wincham Park.
Come on rabbit you have had plenty of time to get these pics on!
Scored twice away at Frickley in one of the FA cup quali rounds. Hard as nails.
Whatever happened to Dave Esser on a completely different thought? Pint sized striker who graced the Central Ground when I started watching the Albs.
When are you going to start again?
When are you going to start again? :P[/quote]
There will be a second coming donât you worry. The armchair is going back in to storage! :cheer:

About time, glory hunters welcome at WP   UTA
Strangely, over the years I have tended to be a regular when we have been not so good, I hardly saw a game when we were in the Conference in the 1990âs but that was because my kids were playing Rugby on a Saturday. I have no objection to ex supporters jumping back on the bandwagon, the more the merrier. Fianlly, thank you all so much for all the wonderful information you provided, you are âACEâ.

I have thoroughly enjoyed this thread, it has brought back many happy memories. Still waiting for the additional pics from rabbit though? The start of the thread mentioned that any information on the CG would be passed on to the author of a new book, any news WHS on when it is likely to be published and where a copy can be obtained from? I would really like a copy.
