Witton return to league action on Saturday afternoon when they make the short trip to Trafford in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.
Buoyed by their cup success in midweek against Northwich Victoria, they go into the game in confident mood as they look to continue their pursuit of the play offs.
Over the years Trafford have been a bit of a bogey team for Witton, and beat them convincingly in the return fixture at the U Lock It Stadium earlier in the season.
Witton’s last victory at Trafford was back in 2015 so they are due another success but it has to be earned.
Trafford find themselves in eighteenth place in the table going into the game and will be conscious of Hednesford just four points behind them so will be aiming to make sure that gap doesn’t get any smaller.
Three big games starting with this one and Witton will be going all out to secure the crucial three points but Trafford won’t make it easy for them.
Kick off at the Away Day Care Shawe View Stadium is 3pm.

Very tight at the top end of the table now. Nantwich have dropped out of play-off contention but still have a huge say as they face both Widnes and City of Liverpool in the final couple of weeks.
Looks almost certain to be decided at City of Liverpool on the last day.
City of Liverpool play Bootle on Wednesday night.
