Any news?
According to Radcliffe’s forum it’s 1-1…True?
1-1 on one of their forums. Little got the Witton goal early first half, they equalised about 10-15 mins ago.
2-1 witton now, according to that forum
3-1 now! Come on the albs… Hope that forum is right!
It is indeed 3-1 just had it confirmed from the ground. Maguire and Frost with the second and third strikes, not long left just starting injury time.
FULL TIME
Witton Albion 3-1 Radcliffe Borough
GREAT result! Well done, lads! Come on the Albion!..
Two good goals from crosses from either flank and then a nice finish from Frost for the third. good stuff. Who’ve we got next round?
Away to Harrogate Town on November 20.

First half was like a training session stroll around for us, big surprise when they scored, it seemed to go in in slow motion. Once our second went in the game was pretty safe. We played some nice football, good passing moves and as said above good crosses for two of the goals, and great to see Frosty seal it after providing the second.
great result, played some good football. liked the look of anton bryan when he came on, surely worth a start on saturday. pity more could not be bothered to attend. let’s see you there on saturday.
Att of 188 rather proves my point. Watching football at all levels is becoming more and more expensive and in the present financial climate with job losses and spending cuts pending can only get worse.
Anyway good result as expected ! See u all at Harrogate
Yes a good and welcome result, interesting to see us gamble and play pritch at the back and kierns at fullback, we looked strong I thought, nice poachers goal from little, thought after our first goal we didnt play too well and they had a good spell with ex witton player mark jones playing well in the middle for them, the turning point for me was carl frost coming on he looked very lively, held the ball well, used it really well and was a constant threat, 3 good goals into the next round a good night imo.
I thought the back 4 last night was the strongest available to us. I would send that side out every week.
I thought that Frost was fantastic when he came on, and really deserved his goal.
I still think we have 1 weak link, but not mentioning any names…
Special mention for Pritch; i think he is once again proving everybody wrong who thought it was time he hung them up. I don’t think he has let us down in any game this season. He obviously has his limitations, but that is to be expected now. There still isn’t anybody better in the air, and he is still giving 100% every week. We are lucky to have him. Although his beard is a bit sh*t.

Who is ‘EVERYBODY’?
I dont know ANYBODY who thought it was time he hung them up.
I saw Stanley Mathews play against Everton in the 60’s when he was 50 years old. I back Pritch to beat his record.
Showing your age there Thatch! Well surely if Andy Morrison can play for Vic’s at 40 odd then Pritch shouldn’t have any difficulties carrying on for a couple more years.
Never write pritch off, of course as he gets older he needs to watch his weight because he cannot afford to lose any more pace, if he does and keeps injury free then he can certainly play for acouple more years, two things he has got are real ability and a heart as big as lion ~( yes and an arse to match I hear you say ) those attributes mean he can play for longer at this level than lesser players can -I hope to be watching him for a couple more years yet can see no reason why not.
