I heard we should know today what league we are playing in next year. Is there any news that can be passed on yet?

Latest news on next season’s allocations.
The proposed Step 1 to 4 league allocations for season 2009/2010 will be released on Friday morning following the outcome of two Appeal Boards which take place on Thursday.
However, there might be a number of issues to resolve before the allocations are finally confirmed.

HOPE WE STAY UP:)
Logic would dictate that if Laird’s and Newcastle Blue Star cannot satisfy the criteria for the Unibond Premier League then Whitby and Th’albs should stay up. However logic and F.A. mixed then anythings possible. Coupled with that is the Team Bath situation, where their demise should earn a reprieve for another team in ‘Step 7’.
Lets just hope that it happens that way!
Fingers crossed that the league finally do the right thing and keep us in the prem, i tell you what if they do im going straight onto the nonleaguezone forum to inform the anti-witton mob who delighted in our relagation that were back:cheer: …please unibond league men make my day!!B)
Might take this on board, Kings Lynn have today lost their appeal and are now demoted to either the BGB Southern Premier or the Unibond Premier
Lairds also demoted:
Relegation appeals dismissed
Thursday, 28 May, 2009
Kings Lynn and Cammell Laird have been relegated to Step 3 and Step 4 respectively.
The FA dismissed appeals from both Kings Lynn FC and Cammell Laird FC at a hearing in Derby on Thursday.
Both clubs were appealing against relegation under ground grading rules and the result means that Kings Lynn will be playing in Step 3 next season while Cammell Laird have been demoted to Step 4.
The 2009-10 National League System structure will be announced by The FA on 29 May.
Just received this email message from the Unibond:
Phil Bradley will e-mail all clubs the full constitution of the League by Division at some time tomorrow. It is difficult to say exactly when as we will be awaiting the release from The FA. Please note that the constitution may be subject to change before our AGM due to clubs nationally having court hearings pending due to financial matters.
So it looks like we might not finally know tomorrow?
i think your right TT, we may have an idea but sounds like this will drag on a while…
If we saty up are fans would go mad
i’am not sure i keep my fingers crossed for much longer, losing the sensation in my fingertips

Obviously, this could still change before the Unibond AGM, with 4 or 5 clubs still in financial difficulty.
Cammell Laird’s appeal has been dismissed. This officially repreives Whitby.
We must be next in line for a reprieve if anyone drops out e.g Newcastle Blue Star?
I also notice that Hednesford have disappeared.
Presumably moved into the Southern League?
I thought newcastle b.s had resigned 2 weeks ago? please god let us have there place should it be true…plus are marine not being punished for match fixing or has that been swept under the carpet? kick em out thats wot i say and let us in

This is horrible…
I thought that Newcastle BS had gone into admin and were expecting to drop down into the Northern League? If they do, the NPL can’t promote another team in their place surely. I guess none of this will be sorted until after the AGM, which is June 20th?
