Witton Albion Ladies (Juniors) travel to take on Crewe Alexandra Ladies Development Squad on Sunday afternoon in a Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League fixture. The game represents Witton Ladies (Juniors) most difficult challenge so far as the Crewe Alexandra Ladies team have very strong links with their male counterparts in the English Football League Two. Crewe have begun the season well with a ten goal thrashing of Wythenshawe Amateurs Ladies but Witton Albion Ladies (Juniors) then put 13 goals without reply past the same opponents. Witton Ladies have started their season in fine form with two wins from two but this latest challenge will be something the team haven’t experienced before in their short existence. They will still be going into the game in a positive mood and looking to impose themselves on the opposition and who knows what they can achieve, they certainly won’t lack effort.
