Witton Albion Ladies(Juniors) are away to Wythenshawe Amateurs Ladies on Sunday afternoon in the Cheshire Women’s & Youth Football League following a two week break from competitive action. Witton will be looking to get winning again but they face a difficult test against an improving Wythenshawe side. The fixture is being played at Newall Green High School with a 2pm kick off.

Witton Ladies were involved in a six goal thriller on Sunday afternoon following a 3-3 draw away to Wallasey Wanderers Ladies. The team showed tremendous fighting spirit in coming from behind twice in the game, whilst only being able to field nine players. The Ladies currently sit fourth in the league with 17 points from 12 games.

Witton Albion Ladies (Juniors) are back in league action on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Chester FC Ladies at Moss Farm Leisure Complex with a 2pm kick off. Witton currently lie third in the league table and are in the midst of an excellent unbeaten run but Chester FC Ladies are presently one of the two teams above them and certainly a strong outfit. Any positive result will be hard earned but confidence is high at present and what the team lacks in technical ability and experience, they more than make up for in team spirit.
