Well what a disaster, i feel too sick to say much but what the hell is the manager doing ? warner looks worse at left back than the last time he was here what a poor signing, another missed pen, another player sent off and the manager sent off for the second time time in 2 games, this 4 3 3 has to change we cannot defend this way , we had a good strong start, then allow them to score 3 goals out of 4 attacks ? comedy defending, we need to go 4 4 2 and be solid, time is running out for the manager lots of discontent on the terraces, we can forget the playoffs and personally id like to see changes, get rid of the players that are too old and unfit, bring in some younger hungrier players and build for next season and if that is with a new manager then i for one wont be unhappy - I am not sure the team are behind him anymore, he may be a good coach but running a team is about more than coaching, it needs man mgt skills and good tactical nouse has our manager got these skills im not sure ! like to here others views ? at the end of the day we are in a poor league and really we wont get out of it - the manager has to take the blame, I heard today he has a contract for a further 18 months :frowning:

Would be nice to hear people get behind the manager rather than constantly havin a dig at him. He doesn’t take the pens for gods sake. If the manager was to go who would we bring in? Exactly.

if it was only the missed penalties that was the problem - but its clearly not, I support Witton through thick and thin and have done for over 40 years and will do till I die but this is a forum to discuss the issues surrounding witton can we not debate the issues ? if you rate the manager tell us why ? and there are always managers out there dont worry about that.

People can say what they want on the forum that’s what it’s all about, I just get bored of standing near people shouting things at the manger rather than encouraging granted it is the same people each time . We started well today and believe it or not were the better team for the most part.

I dont disagree with you, I try be positive at the match, and I dont generally shout anything discouraging but I do like to discuss all the issues and enjoy the forum for much of the same reasons, I think we are both good wittoners, but I suspect you have a little more tolerance than me ! and many other wittoners as well, I dont like the moaners either.

Agreed mate

Totally agree C.J. :frowning: :frowning:
Witton Albion Football Club at this time are a disgrace,
I am mortified by the lack of discipline which is now endemic through out, what
I call my club, we are at the lowest level of football status the club has known.
That in it self is not a problem for me.However I can not and will not witness further episosode’s of such behaviour from the football manager and some of Witton? “supporters”.
Finley has brought some good footballers, at this level, to the club I agree,
some bad tempered, some missfits but a few have talent. I remember Finley’s last period in charge at WAFC and the diabolical scenes I witnessed in the tunnel against BPA, somethings don’t change
Please leave, we really can’t afford to pay your remaining contract off, So If you stay I will send my £20 to the club I spend each home game but won’t attend. (PS will still help at the ground on non match daysif allowed).

PS Sorry Mark H
A genuine bloke

To people saying we have no chance of the making playoffs.

Take a look at the table and get a grip.

I can understand people getting frustrated with the way things are at the moment but lets be honest, we do not have the money to sign players here there and everywhere. Witton Albion FC as a club do not deserve to be here but we have been let down by teams over the last few years. We need to stick together in times like these.

Not bothered about league tables, playoffs, just bothered about our football CLUB

If we can’t win at home then we have no chance of getting out of this league I’m afraid.

We have 3 homes games on the next 3 saturdays against Stamford, Carlton and Spalding - if we don’t get maximun points then questions will have to be asked.

We started brightly today , missed a penalty again, defended badly and conceded 3 goals before half-time - game over.

Discipline has now become a problem we could do without - the manager sent off for the second week running, the captain has been booked 9 times and was sent off last week for violent coduct. Foster saw the red mist today walking 10yrds to confront the Glapwell player making his intentions so obvious. Don’t we seem to have been there before with this manager?

Giving a manager, who left the club previously under a cloud, a 2 year contract may also turn out to be a problem we could well do without as well.

As regards Danny Warner, well he has been here before as you say CJ so is the manager running out of options ?

Good job we are playing Barnton next

Work rate was woeful ,physical ability to challenge hard but fair, non existant , not one of our players strikes fear in opponents at the moment . Discipline is dreadful , Body language as the team walked off was awful. Ill support my team to the bitter end and defend them , and yes they may all realize they had a bad day at the office etc and having a bad run . But that was taking the p**s . Im so angry I darnt write anymore.
