Surely one of the most pathetic performances by a Witton team in recent history. We are no better now than when Sully was here. we have 4 players who are good enough. The rest need to go. Not looking forward to next season, I predict more of the same.
andrews, hopley and neild so who is the fourth?
For me I would keep Gards(player of the season), Andrews, Wilson, Hopley and Roberts if he is fit. The rest can go in my opinion.
After a very shaky start we got worse. Couldn’t fault the effort but that alone isn’t enough. Agree with previous poster we are only eight or nine players away from having a decent team.
I would imagine the two loan players are likely to return to their clubs - Mullarkey to Crewe & Joe Newton back to Wrexham. Then there’s Tom Schofield to come back into consideration and Danny Roberts of course. At least Carl & Gary will have the whole of the Summer to look at things and then prepare for next season, instead of having to rebuild part way through a season again.
