If making fun of my height, or lack of it makes the supporters laugh then laugh on, it’s better than hearing them bemoaning the state the Club is in. I would point out that the resaon I am fat is that I am tryiong to compensate for my lack of height by increasing my girth!! There is a country song that fits me perfectly, “I’m little but I’m loud”!!

PS Napoleon was a little fella, so was Nelson and Robert E. Lee. Einstein wasn’t that big either and the best player Lancashire ever had was little Eddie Paynter and need I mention Maradona? I still have difficulty seeing over the stumps though!!

As I said on a previous post I have informed Mark of this possiblity. However, things are not straight forward. Mark and Graham Shuttleworth have been working very hard on a FA grant for ground improvements, which included the upgrade on the floodlights. To change tact at this late stage could jeopardise this grant. That said, Mark said that he would contact Morcambe’s chairman to discuss if their old floodlight system was compatible with our’s.
Ill be there on Saturday, hoping that its Garys first game in building a team for him to take us up next season.
