Certainly taking a while for the automatic 10 point deduction to show up. Maybe some other punishment could be in the offing

They will see out the season Im sure and I think it will be a 10 point deduction, they will not be ground sharing next season with us as confirmed- they are Off to the Dog and Duck league probably playing at Barnton, lets hope for 3 points and move up the table to put 2 leagues between us and all the dog and duck leaguers. No millionaire ! but a few fans are putting in money and they expect to see the season out and regroup next year to keep the name going at whatever level, I also heard the new manager has contacts who can bring funds in ? Time will tell but they will not be ground sharing with us next season that is certain, so all those who have stopped watching for this reason get yourself down to support this superb team. UTA
With such a “Toxic” name why on earth would backers come in, is it just because it is “Northwich” and people know where Northwich is?

WHS - lots of teams have had backers who have been somewhat disreputable - it tends to fade into history once the ownership of the club has changed and a more respectable course is charted. I suspect the same may be for NVFC. There are some good people in there who are fighting tooth and nail to keep their club afloat. I personally hope they succeed. In any event its not our club and not our problem.
Good luck to them that’s what I say at least there still trying to save their club unlike those who jumped ship and took their ball to Winsford B)

Reading the 2012 Winsford Forum, can’t believe they are complaining about Northwich Town Council possibly sponsoring the match, when they received approx £4000 worth of free rent in a shop in the town centre a few years back, when surrounding shops and local businesses were having to pay approx £500pw rent. They made around £20k from 10 years association to Vics, if they wanted a defibrillators they should have used the money from that, rather a Winsford based club asking Northwich Town Council for money.

“They” if you think back paid football debts that Rushe refused to to keep Vic’s going. Sadly Vic’s fans were shafted by Rushe who treated the rest of football with utter distain. He lost you your ground, he lied cheated and ultimately had to pay the price (and is doing so as we speak) that some of you continued to worship at his corrupt altar rather than support an honest fans endeavour is sad but I suppose understandable. The FA are as culpable for your suffering as they are for having taken no action knowing coaches had been abusing young players.
So back to the match ! we have a few injuries and suspensions so my usual guess at the team is a bit harder, I would go with based on little news we get re injury updates :

Haven’t heard anything as regards injuries or any new arrivals as yet but, I don’t think that line-up will be far wrong if at all.
Noticed on the evostik website we have signed Stuart Callaway from a Swedish team?!
Sorry, but ALL Vics supporters were quite happy to laugh at us as we paid our debts and they went on Cup runs etc with other people’s money. I will NEVER forget and I hope both clubs go down the pan.
