Watch Witton twice

WITTONERS could get double vision on Saturday.

They can watch their league clash with Leek Town live before switching to the social club to see the action all over again.

The game, which kicks off at 12.45pm, is to be broadcast live on the Internet by NPT TV, the UniBond League’s online television channel.

And Albion plan to show the game to supporters once more after the final whistle.

The viewing is due to start at 3pm.

It is their second outing on the world wide web this term as their goalless draw at Fleetwood Town in October was also broadcast to a global audience.

10:00am today

Excuse my daft question but how do i get this channel ??? bearing in mind we have only just got electricity in wakefield!!

Should be a link on the unibond website to Unibond TV

Cheers robbo i shall be watching so make some noise

Would imagine the game will be in doubt given the current weather?

Anyone expand, and is any help needed on the ground?

I’m a good forker

I would also be happy to help on the pitch if required. We don’t want to disappoint the TV audience do we?!

I have provisionally arranged for an inspection on Friday afternoon. It has forecast a lot of rain Thursday/Friday but, as we cannot postpone a game on a Friday there may be another inspection early Saturday morning.

All the forkers we can find please…

GE

Maybe we should move the kick off to 3pm if the pitch needs time to dry out… :o

I will be able to help out Saturday morning on the pitch if the game hasn’t already been called off!

Whats times the inspection GE so we can ensure we are there to fork before?

Not arranged a definite time yet - depends on people’s work. Possibly 3.30pm Friday.

GE

Any update on the condition of the pitch?! :-

Apologies I read it too quickly - possibly another on Saturday. We will wait and see. Can someone please post on here if forkers are needed for Sat am and what time by wheni t is known.

I think it will be safe to assume that the ground will need as many bodies to help on Saturday morning IF:

(a) it passes the initial inspection on Friday.
(b) it passes the Saturday one at 9-ish.

I will post on here on Friday evening but please be available if you can help.

I have provided the ground staff with 4 sets of tarpaulins, are these being utilised to protect the worst affected areas from further rain?

That’s interesting, i wasn’t aware of that. Good question though; are they being used?! How long has the club had them, as they obviously weren’t used before the Telford game that got postponed last season.

If you need another couple of forkers (:D) to help out on saturday morning then myself and Emma will help out. Neil has my number so just let us know.

Dann and Emma forking on the pitch, whatever next… :o

Can any forker watch ? ::slight_smile: ::slight_smile:

No Eli you can help out you lazy forker.

I think the club have had the covers for quite a while if memory serves me I moved them round the garage a few years ago!
