the latest score is 1-1. Lawless putting us one nil up with a penalty.

Come on, lads! We could do with the 3 points today.
After witnessing Liverpool absolutely ripping Man Utd apart earlier, a good win for the Albion would make my day!..

Well done Witton keep up the good work
An exciting game and one in which we had to work hard to secure all three points. Earlier this season we would have struggled to do this but now we have a league double.
I felt we showed more quality and commitment against hard working but unimaginative opponents. The first came after a mazy run form Naylor who was brought down and Lawless showed cool composure to slot home. We’d had an equally strong shout for a penalty moments earlier when Booth was tackled recklessly.
Having dominated the first half we gave away possession in midfield, conceded a sloppy corner and a loose ball was rammed home to make things all square at the break.
Second half we pressed well and it took a cross of great quality from Brad Maylett which bypassed the keeper and was buried by Kieron Lugsden for all three points.
Late drama saw a potential equaliser ruled out for persistently fouling our keeper and our quest for survival goes on.
Small crowd but vociferous support.
Worksop 1 Whitby 0
Nantwich 1 Matlock 1
Bradford 2 Leigh Genesis 1
FCUM 2 Frickley 0
Marine 0 Hednesford 3
Eastwood 4 Cammell Laird 1
Ilkeston 1 Buxton 0
Ashton 3 Boston 0
Guiseley 3 Kendal Town 2
Prescot Cables 2 Osset3 Town 3
and most importantly…
ALBION 2 North Ferriby 1…
Another massive 3 points against a decent side WHEN they try and play football.
1st half the wind ruined the game and we were denied a clear cut penalty, then a minute later the ref evened it up by giving us a penalty that was debateable.
NFU had 4 or 5 players booked and one sent off, for some very crude challenges - and they are top of the Fair Play League!!!
The young referee controlled the game well and adminished every card rightly and properly.
The 2nd goal was deserved reward for Kieran who I thought was our Mom.
Results elsewhere mean we are 14th but can’t get complacent - if Boston win their game in hand we are still only 3 pts off the relegation zone.
Another 3pts in extremely difficult conditions. Agree with you Andy - Kieran Lugsden as MoM - he is in his true position and his form in the last few games has confirmed his potential when he was signed by Nigel at the beginning of the season. I seem to remember us getting a shed load of bookings at NFU and winning 2-1 so nice to have achieved a double at last.
Good solid performance, not a lot between the two side but the Albion always looked the more likely to score the winner. They were a dirty team and deserve what they went home with- NOTHING!!!
M.O.M - I don’t what game the guy who decides Man of the Match was watching, there was no question was KIERON LUGSDEN a fantastic performance from him and deserved goal.
Got to credit Gary for keeping faith in him because he has come a long way from where he was earlier in the season.
Notably good performances again today from Lawless, Maylett, Ashley Dunn, Booth and Pritch(Who was actually named man of the match, and though he had a good game, there was 2 or 3 in front of him for the award in my opinion, including his partner Booth)
Well done lads!
Well done Gary and the lads.
That second goal was a great finish to an excellent cross.
Bring on Matlock.
