Chester FC sign Fleetwood Town’s Alex Titchiner on loan
Newly-promoted Chester FC have signed Fleetwood Town striker Alex Titchiner on loan until January.
Titchiner, 22, joined the Cod Army from Witton following their rise into the Football League last summer.
The former Crewe academy player made 10 appearances in all competitions last term but failed to find the net.
He will strengthen a Chester forward line that has already been reinforced by the recent arrivals of strikers Jamie Reed and Gareth Seddon

For those that don’t remember him, Geoff came to Witton from Guiseley, during the Ray Ranson/Terry Warrender era. We were forced to let him go when they left the club, and he joined Halifax. From there, Geoff’s career took off and he reached the Premier League.

Former Witton midfielder Brad Maylett has signed for Stockport Sports. It is his second spell in the area as he was at Woodley Sports previously. He missed the whole of last season through injury while at Rhyl, after being carried off in a pre season friendly against Trafford.
According to a good source Nicky Platt has tonight joined Stockport County
