Winger Matty Purcell scored on his debut for Salford City this afternoon in their 6-3 win against Kendal Town.
Young Jason Oswell scored two today for rhyl in the welsh prem. I thought he had gone to australia to play his football. I thought he was very promising in his short time on the pitch with us. Why has he ended up at rhyl his family are in northwich, he’s only 21 and he has experience of playing at a higher standard???
He did go oz but on his return, his agent has got him the move to Rhyl. As with most players it’s not about the convenience it’s something else. Rob Hopley and Graham Kay both local lads, both ply their trade miles away.
On a seperate note former player Simon Hughes moved to New Zealand with his family, all the best yozz

Matty Purcell made it two goals in two games for Salford City in their 2-0 away success at New Mills on Friday night. Another ex Albion player Danny Meadowcroft has joined Trafford FC from Colwyn Bay.
I liked the look of matty Purcell I thought he should have been given a chance. As for meadowcroft He’s like the littlest hobo!

The biggest problem Matty had was that he was never likely to replace Josh or Danny Andrews.
John Dillon, who had a brief spell at Witton a few seasons ago has joined AFC Fylde. He has been playing in Ireland for Dundalk.
Rushall have placed former Albion defender Matty Wood on the transfer list.
I’d love to see him back at witton but I can’t see it happening.
