Maybe the Director of Football Development John Salmon has got someone lined up? He must be doing SOMETHING?
You do know he has contacts at many professional clubs! He did bring in Lucas aswell so I trust him
Skelmersdale always seem to start well under Tommy Lawson but then they tend to fall away towards the end of the season.
There’s a guy called Les McJannett who has just resigned from Carlton Town of Div 1 South after five (mostly Good) years because he feels he can’t take them any further and wants a new challenge. They seem to think the world of him and gave him an emotional farewell on Saturday. As a player, he played for Darlington in the Football League and Conference. Could be worth a phone call?
Started as a right back at Mansfield Town.
He guided them to 18th in the south! That’ll get us wittoners excited
But did he come in under budget?

I think he brought in Lucas, who was a nice lad, but couldn’t play football, and the lad from Macc, who may have been a nice lad, and never played football for us.
Let’s hope for something better next season.
